The Specialist Operations Group is where the high-end, high-risk work happens. Our teams cover USAR, MTFA operations, Technical Rescue, Water Rescue and HAZMAT/DIM response the kind of incidents where precision actually matters and hesitation isn’t an option.

If you're applying to join SOG, you’ll need to choose three specialisations to develop to full operational standard before becoming a fully fledged member. Your options include:

• Urban Search and Rescue
• Marauding Terrorist Firearms Attack Response
• Technical Rescue (Working at Heights)
• HAZMAT/DIM Operations
• Level 3 Water Rescue
